About RampUp Rocket

Preparation Decides Revenue

Most deals are not lost in the meeting. They are lost in the minutes before it.

RampUp Rocket exists to close the gap between knowledge and execution in high-stakes selling. We are building the sales readiness layer modern technical revenue teams have been missing, a system that transforms company knowledge into real-time, contextual preparation for the moments that matter most.

Not another training platform. Not a static enablement library.

A performance system designed for execution.

Why Sales Readiness

B2B selling has changed. Products are more complex. Buying groups are larger. Competitive dynamics shift quickly.

Yet most teams still rely on scattered documents, tribal knowledge, and reactive coaching to prepare for critical meetings.

  • Slow ramp for new hires
  • Inconsistent execution across reps
  • Managers pulled into rescue mode
  • Missed opportunities that were winnable

Sales readiness is the missing layer between knowledge and performance. RampUp Rocket brings that layer to life by organizing company intelligence, contextualizing it for each deal, and delivering clear guidance before the meeting begins.

What We Believe

  • Preparation is a competitive advantage.
  • Readiness must be contextual, not generic.
  • Sales knowledge should be living, not buried.
  • Systems drive consistency. Consistency drives revenue.

RampUp Rocket is built on these principles.

Leadership

Ron Stein

Ron Stein

CEO & Founder

Most teams don't lose deals because they aren't smart—they lose because they aren't ready for the moments that matter. I've watched that stall even great teams in the market. My vision for RampUp Rocket came from that reality: shorten ramp time, raise sales-call readiness, and help technical sales teams create revenue faster—with confidence instead of guesswork.

I've built my career on an "above-and-beyond" standard—first for the teams I led, and now for the founders and technical sales teams I guide. RampUp Rocket grew out of that same standard and my lived experience: I've watched smart teams lose time and deals—not because they lacked effort or talent, but because they weren't ready for the moments that mattered.

RampUp Rocket exists to deliver a simple result—shorter sales rep ramp time and higher sales-call readiness—so account executives and SDRs show up sharper, ask better questions, and make the next best move with confidence—so revenue arrives faster.

I co-founded my first startup within a year of graduating from the University of Florida, creating and selling an innovative electronic differential controller for the solar industry—and then successfully exiting. I went on to hold executive leadership roles across tech (including VP, GM, and CEO positions), raise $100M+ through venture capital, M&A, and an IPO, and build repeatable go-to-market systems, global channels, and strategic partner programs.

I'm hands-on and practical—helping founders and their teams choose the right direction, build repeatable systems, and develop the skills to execute under real pressure.

I previously served on the Advisory Board of UF Innovate. I also teach the Sales Engineering Seminar at the University of Florida as an adjunct lecturer, one day a week—bringing real-world sales and operating experience into the classroom. Outside of work, I play jazz and blues trombone and ride my bike like it's a race.

Co-Founder & Chief of Staff

I've been building RampUp Rocket from the beginning, writing the initial code, shaping the early architecture, and turning the idea into something teams could actually use.

As RampUp Rocket evolved, my role expanded from lead engineer into strategy and go-to-market execution. I now work across product direction, operations, and GTM, connecting what we build to how teams learn, prepare, and perform in real sales environments.

My background in engineering shapes how I think: clarity, structure, and execution under constraint. I focus on turning ambiguity into systems and translating insight into practical workflows teams can rely on.

RampUp Rocket exists to close the gap between knowledge and execution in high-stakes selling. I'm focused on building systems that help smart teams prepare better, learn faster, and perform consistently when it matters most.

Jake Drummond

Platform Engineering Lead

I lead platform engineering at RampUp Rocket and own the architecture behind Mission Brief.

My focus is simple: build a system that makes technical sales teams measurably more ready for high-stakes conversations. That means designing clean data models, secure multi-user access, and AI orchestration that turns real company context into actionable meeting prep in seconds.

I think in systems. Readiness isn't just an output—it's the result of structured inputs, clear permissions, reliable infrastructure, and disciplined iteration. If any layer breaks, the experience degrades.

I ship with the business outcome in mind: shorter ramp time, higher call quality, and fewer manager interventions. Anything that strengthens that loop gets built. Anything else waits.

Mark Sweeney

Mark Sweeney

Platform Engineer

I joined RampUp Rocket because the problem was obvious: smart reps don't lose deals from lack of effort; they lose because meeting prep is messy and inconsistent.

I work on the core of the product—improving user experience, protecting data, and keeping Mission Brief fast and reliable when the clock is ticking. With a focus on security and trust, I help ensure the platform delivers what it promises.

I translate real user feedback into practical improvements so teams ramp faster and show up ready when it matters.

Looking Ahead

RampUp Rocket is the first step in a broader vision to redefine how technical revenue teams prepare, execute, and scale performance.

We're building intentionally, with real customer feedback and disciplined iteration.

Preparation decides revenue. We're here to make it systematic.
